Emergency Responders Leveraging Ukraine Observer
Our joint initiative with Astraea, UkraineObserver.earth, which offers a simplified interface to access, analyze, and share our daily collections over the region, is actively supporting 15 non-governmental organizations including World Food Programme, Ukraine Global Taskforce, International Justice Mission, International Crisis Group, and Doctors without Borders, among others. We are currently processing additional applications as well.
Feedback from active NGO users indicated that Ukraine Observer has aided in identifying damaged and safe transportation routes, monitoring borders for evacuation opportunities, and establishing secure logistics for distribution of resources.
