Satellogic takes the privacy of our customers, business partners, shareholders, and employees seriously. We are committed to safeguarding Your privacy while providing You with high-quality solutions. You will find here the details of our global privacy policy. Satellogic has established its data protection and privacy program in conformance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU-US DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF. Satellogic has baselined its program to assure the maximum level of protections of personal data and rights of data subjects. As local data protection regulations may differ, Satellogic does monitor those differences where we operate or have an ecosystem partner. You will find reference to specific regional or local regulations that provide residents of those locations specific rights and require specific handling, as may be applicable, at the end of this document.
Satellogic complies with the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF, as set forth by the US Department of Commerce, with regard to personal data transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom. Satellogic has certified to the US Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-US DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-US DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. Satellogic does process HR data of our employees and non-HR data of customers, business partners, and visitors. The amount of data we collect is limited to that we must have to 1) manage our tax and employer obligations in the case of employees, 2) to provision accounts, complete know your customer diligence and manage service delivery to our customers and partners and 3) to clear and verify the identity of our visitors. We collect name, address, email address, phone number, national identification number, passport number, identified gender, educational institution information and professional experience information of our employees. We limit collection of data regarding customers, business partners and visitors to name, organization, email address and phone number. We request this information during the hiring process as it regards employees and we collect this information in the initial stages of exploring a commercial relationship and at the contracting stage with regard to customers and business partners and 3) we collect this information upon scheduling an onsite visit.
High Level Overview of our Approach to Privacy
- We recognize and respect your privacy. That means we only collect information we must have to fulfill our commitments and obligations to you. If we do not need the information, we do not request it.
- We implement technology solutions, process controls, and trained people to secure the data we do collect.
- We do not sell your personal information – PERIOD.
- We greatly limit who has access to your personal information to those with a job role that specifically supports a business purpose to support or fulfill our obligations.
- We do not transact business with minors.
- We collect information via our website (including our contact form) and via information you provide to us.
- We have a record retention policy governing how long we retain information. We only keep your information as long as we need to in order to fulfill our obligations to you and to meet any legal or regulatory requirements we are subject to (ie taxes, know your customer, payroll).
- This privacy policy addresses all personal information we may collect across customers, partners, employees, etc. For this reason, you may find some data references that seem odd to you; this is likely because we do not collect that type of information for your category. For example, we do not collect job history on customers but we do for employees.
- We do use cookies, primarily those for analytic data that are aggregated (not specific to you). We may use some cookies to customize your experience; particularly if you have a customer portal or supplier portal account.
Satellogic Inc. has always recognized data protection as an important topic for its stakeholders in the digital age and understands the responsibility that comes with the handling of personal data. This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Satellogic and its affiliates (together “Satellogic”) related to personal data collected, used, stored and otherwise processed. Please be aware that, depending upon your country of residence, some supplemental country terms may be applicable as detailed at the end of this Privacy Policy.
OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This Satellogic Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is issued by Satellogic Inc., for itself and on behalf of its affiliates, related companies and subsidiaries (collectively “Satellogic”, “We”, or “Us”) to explain the data processing practices of Satellogic. Satellogic processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of the common law of the British Virgin Islands regarding confidentiality and the Uruguayan Act on the Protection of Personal Data and Habeas Data Action, commonly referred to as the Data Protection Act. Further, Satellogic complies with the prevailing national data protection regulations applicable to the domiciled homes of those with whom we may transact business. This Privacy Policy applies to personal data as defined by national data protection laws and to other personally identifiable information that You provide to Satellogic (“Personal Data”). If You are a business, information about Your business generally is not Personal Data. This Privacy Policy describes how We collect and process information provided by You, Your right to determine how We collect and process Your Personal Data, and Your right to access, correct, and delete Your Personal Data. Additional details about our use of Your information with respect to specific Satellogic solutions is found in the relevant terms and conditions, and other documents provided to You in the context on Your relationship with Us, which should all be read together with this Privacy Policy.
WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS
This privacy policy applies to the personal data Satellogic processes as a data controller, i.e. as the party that determines what personal data to collect online (including in connection with Satellogic websites, platform) or offline and to what end.
In addition, Satellogic does not collect data from minors.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED AND PROCESSED BY SATELLOGIC
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. An identifiable person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to the natural person.
Satellogic does process HR data of our employees and non-HR data of customers, business partners, and visitors. The amount of data we collect is limited to that we must have to 1) manage our tax and employer obligations in the case of employees, 2) to provision accounts, complete know your customer diligence and manage service delivery to our customers and partners and 3) to clear and verify the identity of our visitors. We collect name, address, email address, phone number, national identification number, passport number, identified gender, educational institution information and professional experience information of our employees. We limit collection of data regarding customers, business partners and visitors to name, organization, email address and phone number. Our collection does include that from data subjects located in the EU and UK. We request this information during the hiring process as it regards employees and we collect this information in the initial stages of exploring a commercial relationship and at the contracting stage with regard to customers and business partners and 3) we collect this information upon scheduling an onsite visit. We may disclose this data to other entities within our organization to facilitate delivery of services, billing and payroll, as may be applicable. We also may disclose this information to our auditors, payroll providers, and accounting service providers.

In any event, the personal data processed by Satellogic is limited to data necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
HOW YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED
We collect Personal Data and other information from You in a variety of ways, including:
- the submission of Personal Data by You to Satellogic through our websites;
- the submission of a paper or online order for Satellogic solutions;
- the submission of a Partner or Distributor Application and Agreement;
- through the use of our websites and solutions;
- when We and You communication by email, telephone, fax, chat, or otherwise;
- provision of Your Personal Data to Satellogic by Satellogic’s business partners; and
- the use of Cookies.
Satellogic will not contact You by telephone or email to request information such as account numbers or account passwords. We recommend that You do not open or respond to e-mails requesting this type of information and that You contact Satellogic if You receive such a request.
Some browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets You tell websites that You do not want to have Your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not respond to browser “do not track” signals.
YOUR CONSENT TO COLLECT AND USE PERSONAL DATA
We collect and use Your Personal Data only with Your consent. You may withhold or withdraw Your consent for Satellogic to process Your Personal Data. Certain Personal Data is required for Us to provide solutions to You or to meet our legal obligations, and Your withholding or withdrawal of consent to use that Personal Data may prevent Satellogic from providing the services and products that You have requested. Other Personal Data is not required for Us to provide services or products to You but is used by Us to provide You with better service or for marketing, communications, and other legitimate purposes as explained in this Privacy Policy.
DO NOT SELL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION
Satellogic, Inc. will not sell Your personal information and has not sold any personal information in the preceding 12 months.
WHY YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY SATELLOGIC
Satellogic will process your personal data for one or several of the following purposes;
With your Consent
- To communicate with you, including when you request information related to Satellogic products and services, and more generally to manage Satellogic marketing activities;
- To ascertain your requirements and interests and provide you with the most suitable products and/or services;
- To provide you with a personalized, interactive use of Satellogic websites and apps and allow you to access all their features;
- To enable you to display certain of your personal information related to your profile while exchanging ideas and other information about Satellogic products and services with other users of Satellogic websites and apps.
To provide you with Satellogic products or services
- To enable you to
- register for an event, seminar, webinar;
- enter a contest;
- Create a user profile such as the “ALEPH ID”.
- To enable Satellogic to manage its business relationships with you, (including sales opportunities, commercial offers, purchasing, contracts, orders, invoices, which may include data triggered contact forms, emails, and voice messaging data, delivery of Satellogic products, support or professional services).
If you attend an event organized by Satellogic, you may be asked for health information for the purpose of identifying and being considerate of individuals who have disabilities, special dietary requirements as well as other additional personal data that are necessary to be processed throughout the event.
To comply with the following legitimate interests:
Satellogic takes into consideration and balances any potential impact on you (both positive and negative) and your rights before processing your personal data for legitimate interest purposes. Unless Satellogic has your consent or is otherwise required or permitted to do so by law, Satellogic will not use your personal data in situations where the impact on you outweighs its legitimate interest in processing your personal data:
- To improve your experience;
- To remember your settings;
- To provide you with information related to marketing activities for similar goods and products if you are already using Satellogic products and services;
- To enable Satellogic to manage its business relationships when you are acting on behalf of a Satellogic prospect or customer (including sales opportunities, commercial offers, purchasing, contracts, orders, invoices, which may include conversational data triggered contact forms, emails, and voice messaging data, deliver of Satellogic products, support or professional services);
- To manage the Satellogic Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption and Compliance program. Within this program, Satellogic may combine your personal data together with additional relevant publicly available information or personal data collected through other processing activities;
- To create anonymous data for analytics and for compliance, fraud prevention and safety.
To comply with law
- To manage Satellogic legal obligations related to applicable export laws, trade sanctions, and embargoes issued, by the European Union and its member states, by the United Kingdom, of Japan, of Australia, and of the United States of America and other countries, if any. This may include (i) conducting automated checks of any user registration data identified in this Privacy Policy and other information you provide about your identity against applicable sanctioned-party lists; (ii) regular repetition of such checks whenever a sanctioned-party list is updated or when you update your information; (iii) blocking of access to Satellogic services and systems in case of a potential match; and (iv) contacting you to confirm your identity in case of a potential match;
- To keep your financial data with a third party payment provider.
HOW LONG YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS RETAINED
Satellogic does not store your personal data for more time than necessary and only as long as required to fulfill the purposes set out above. Retention periods may vary depending on the data categories and the processing activities. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, Satellogic considers the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which Satellogic processes your personal data and whether Satellogic can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements:
- where Satellogic is required to comply with a legal obligation, the retention period will be determined according to the applicable law;
- where you gave your consent, until you withdraw it;
- where Satellogic has entered into an agreement with you or your employer, as long as the agreement is into force plus the applicable local statutes of limitations;
- where Satellogic has a legitimate interest in using your personal data, for a limited period of time appropriate to ensure a fair processing of your personal data or until you object to Satellogic’s use of your personal data.
Where your personal data is required to assert or defend against legal claims, Satellogic will retain your personal data until the end of the relevant retention period or until the claims in question have been settled.
WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your Personal Data is stored by Satellogic on secure computer servers located in Ireland. We also use third party cloud providers who maintain secure environments at their global data centers. All Personal Data is stored according to industry standards. See Security below.
THIRD PARTY SITES
Satellogic websites may, in limited instances, contain links to third-party sites owned or operated by Satellogic or Satellogic business partners or other persons/companies. If You follow these links, You will leave Satellogic’s websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites and You should review the privacy disclosures of those websites before using them.
WITH WHOM SATELLOGIC SHARES YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Satellogic does not rent or sell information but may share your necessary personal data for certain business purposes with the following categories of organizations:
- Within Satellogic: Satellogic is a worldwide organization, located in the Americas, Asia and Europe to provide you with responsive and proactive services. In that globalized context, Satellogic may need to share your personal data for example to provide you with support services.
- Event or marketing sponsors: Satellogic may share your personal data with trusted sponsors such as Satellogic resellers with which Satellogic organizes events or marketing promotions. When you register for an event, Satellogic may share your name, company, and email address with other participants and sponsors of the same event for the purpose of communication about the event and the exchange of ideas.
- Satellogic business partners: Satellogic may share your personal data with Satellogic business partners such as resellers assigned to you to provide you or your employer with appropriate offers or services.
- Third parties acting on Satellogic behalf: Satellogic may share your personal data with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers that Satellogic employs to perform tasks on its behalf (such as payment services to enable you to purchase from Satellogic products or services) or to protect Satellogic’s legal interests (such as in the event of a sale of assets to a third company, or a change of control or a total or partial liquidation of Satellogic).
- Law enforcement: Under certain circumstances, Satellogic may also disclose your personal data if required by law including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements or if Satellogic believes in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process (for example, a warrant, a subpoena, or other court order) or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Satellogic, Satellogic’s customers, or the public.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
When accessing a Satellogic website or platform, please note that through your continued use of it, if you are located in a different country than the Satellogic website or platform, you consent to the transfer of your personal data to a country outside of your own.
As part of a worldwide organization, Satellogic may transfer your personal data from the United Kingdom or Europe, in conformance with the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF, to another country. This can for example happen when Satellogic provides you with support services. Satellogic continually monitors the circumstances surrounding any transfer in order to ensure that these transfers maintain, in practice, a level of protection that aligns with the principles in the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF.
Within the Satellogic Group and Overseas
Satellogic may transfer Your Personal Data for purposes laid out in this Privacy Policy to other members of the Satellogic Group, some of which may be located outside of the data center location. Transfers to a Satellogic Group member located in the European Union satisfy the principles of the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF.
To Other Third Parties
From time to time, Satellogic may also transfer Your Personal Data to third parties for purposes laid out in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law. Satellogic transfers Personal Data to third parties only where the third party: (a) has provided satisfactory assurances that it will protect Personal Data consistent in accordance with the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF; (b) has signed an agreement with Satellogic that addresses the transfer and handling of Personal Data; or (c) is located in a country that has reciprocal data protection policies and provisions to provide a comparable level of data security.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the applicable data protection laws, you may have some or all of the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- access your personal data;
- request the rectification, completion, update or erasure of your personal data;
- restrict processing;
- obtain a copy of your personal data stored by Satellogic;
- object to specific processing of your personal data if that processing is based on legitimate interests; and
- data portability.
We may impose reasonable restrictions on requests for access to or to correct Your Personal Data in accordance with national law, as applicable. If You request deletion of Your data, We may not be able to provide solutions to You. We are permitted to keep certain of Your Personal Data in order to meet our legal, financial, audit, and business needs, even if You request its deletion.
In addition to these access and deletion rights You may have the right to object to specific data processing and request for restriction of the processing, as well as a right to data portability. Moreover, subject to this Privacy Policy, You have the right to withdraw consent at any time and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
These rights we honor for all customers and partners without regard for the governing data protection regulation for the domiciled country of those individuals. These rights we commit to honor meet or exceed the rights granted by the the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act 2018/2020 (CCPA), granted to their respective habitual residents of their in-scope countries. We are fully aligned with the EU-US Data Protection Framework (DPF) and thus petitioned to be certified which may be verified here. As a part of our submission to the EU-US DPF, we are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Should you have a claim in which you believe we failed to abide by the DPF Principles, under certain conditions, you may invoke your right to binding arbitration by delivering notice to us and following the procedures and subject to conditions set forth in Annex I of the DPF Principles. We further acknowledge and inform you that we are obliged to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We have further committed that our compliance with the DPF be subject to the review of the applicable EU DPA. We also acknowledge that we have liability for onward transfers of your personal information to third parties when in violation of the DPF Principles and the commitments and notices of this Policy.
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only You, or a person with evidence of legal authorization from You, may make a verifiable consumer request related to Your personal information.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify You are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
- Describe Your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
Be informed that you may, under certain conditions, have the right to invoke binding arbitration as set forth in Annex I of the DPF Principles provided that you have invoked binding arbitration by delivering notice and following the procedures and subject to the conditions set forth in Annex I.
Deletion Requests
You have the right to request that Satellogic, Inc. delete any of Your Personal Information that we collected from You and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm Your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights, below), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) Your Personal Information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny Your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to accomplish any of the following.
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the Personal Information, provide a good or service that You requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with You, or otherwise perform our contract with You.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if You previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on Your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which You provided it.
Access to Specific Information
You have the right to request that Satellogic, Inc. disclose certain information to You about our collection and use of Your Personal Information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm Your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will disclose to You:
- The categories of Personal Information we collected about You;
- The categories of sources for the Personal Information we collected about You;
- Our business purpose for collecting that Personal Information;
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that Personal Information;
- The specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about You (also called a data portability request); and
- If we sold or disclosed Your Personal Information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- sales, identifying the Personal Information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and
- disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the Personal Information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
We cannot respond to Your request or provide You with personal information if we cannot verify Your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to You. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require You to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
DATA SECURITY
Satellogic has implemented technological and organizational measures to safeguard Your Personal Data from unauthorized or improper access or use during collection and while it is in our possession. Sensitive information (such as gender, ethnicity, financial information, and account data) is subject to heightened security measures. You should also take measures to safeguard Your Personal Data by maintaining the confidentiality of Your username and password, logging out of Satellogic websites, closing Your web browsers when You have concluded Your online activities, changing Your passwords regularly, and not providing Your Personal Data to persons that are unfamiliar to You.
Satellogic and You may communicate by email or chat and these communications may at times contain Personal Information. We do not intercept or disclose the contents of email and chat communications in the absence of a warrant or court order or if not required as part of an ongoing investigation; however, these communications may not be secure. We recommend that You do not send sensitive information (such as gender, ethnicity, financial information, and account data) by email or chat, and we will not ask You to provide such information in this manner.
COOKIES
In order to improve your browsing experience on Satellogic websites, Satellogic uses cookies or other similar technologies that may process your personal data. Cookies are small text files that are sent to Your computer so that our websites can remember the settings and information that You submit, so that You don’t have to re-enter them when You visit the website again or visit a new page on the same website.
